NASCAR FALL RACE WEEKEND AT RICHMOND RACEWAY
Richmond Raceway and NASCAR announced that the NASCAR XFINITY Series Go Bowling 250 race, scheduled for Friday, September 11, will start at 7:00 p.m. ET.
The GoBowling 250 will air live on NBC and the NBC Sports App. The event will also be broadcast on the Motor Racing Network. Richmond Raceway’s NASCAR Fall Race Weekend on Sept. 10-12 will run without fans in attendance due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“NASCAR and Richmond have worked closely with public health officials, medical experts, and state and federal officials throughout the development of this season’s realigned NASCAR schedule.” said NASCAR track officials.
NASCAR will return to the Richmond Raceway from 10th September to 12th September. The venue will host four races across all three national series. First, the ‘ToyotaCare 250’ NASCAR Truck Series season finale on Thursday, September 10.
Following which, the first Xfinity Series race ‘Go Bowling 250’ will take place. Finally, a doubleheader on Saturday, September 12. First, the Federated Auto Parts 400 NASCAR Cup Series Playoff race, followed by the ‘Virginia is for Racing Lovers 250’ NASCAR Xfinity Series race.

Richmond Raceway is America’s Premier Short Track annually two NASCAR Cup Series races and a NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series race on the iconic ¾-mile D-shaped oval. TOMMY JOE MARTINS
After starting in the 22nd position, Tommy Joe Martins had a very solid race at Daytona Road Course. NASCAR driver earned his best finish on a road course. His No. 44 AAN Adjusters Chevrolet finished stage one in 21st and stage two in the 19th position, respectively. As the checkered flag flew on lap 52, Martins crossed the finish line in 13th – his best finish of the season. Additionally, Martins 13th place result marked his fourth Top-20 finish in a row and the team’s best finish in team history.

Through companies owned by Ken and Tina, a sponsorship arrangement for 2020 was signed with NASCAR’s Xfinity series driver Tommy Joe Martins who drives the 44 car for Martins Motorsports. The 44 car displays Tina and Ken’s company brands at each race. In addition to the Xfinity cars, Ken’s TA2 series car displays the same design.
