Talladega Superspeedway announced that it will allow a reduced number of fans to attend the Oct. 4 Cup playoff race.

Fans will not be in attendance in frontstretch seating on Friday or Saturday, and the duration of stay for campers has been reduced to three nights. As a result, some areas and offerings will be closed or unavailable.

The NASCAR Cup Series event is an important cut-off race in the first round of the Playoffs. A double-dose of action at Talladega Superspeedway’s 2.66-mile venue is set for Saturday, Oct. 3 with the Sugarlands Shine 250 for the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series at 1:00 p.m. ET, followed by the newly added Xfinity Series race, a 300-miler, at 4:30 p.m. ET. Sunday’s anchor event, the YellaWood 500 for the Cup Series, is scheduled to get the green flag at 2:00 p.m. ET,

NASCAR driver Tommy Joe Martins had a very solid race at Richmond Raceway. His No. 44 AAN Adjusters Chevrolet finished stage one in 21st and stage two in the 14th position, respectively. After the checkered flag was given to the field, the Number 44 car was sitting solidly in 15th. This impressive performance led to Martins starting on the pole after an invert of the top-15 finishers for Saturday’s NXS Virginia is For Racing Lovers 250 at Richmond.

Through companies owned by Ken and Tina, a sponsorship arrangement for 2020 was signed with NASCAR’s Xfinity series driver Tommy Joe Martins who drives the 44 car for Martins Motorsports. The 44 car displays Tina and Ken’s company brands at each race. In addition to the Xfinity cars, Ken’s TA2 series car displays the same design.
